once you told me that i am your favourite child.
but i dont believe it.
before you told me that i am your favourite child.
i believe it.
now you told me that i am your favourite child.
i remember it.
in time to come, you tell me that i am your favourite child.
i see it.

when i was a kid,
i used to think that everything is only my own.
i want my toys.
i want my food.
i chose my friends.
everything is i, i, i, and more i.
but when i grow up a little bit more.
i start to care about what others think, and what they think of me.
i start to help. i start to care. i start to mind my words. i start to think.
when i grow up a little bit more.
i start to love.
i start to socialise.
i start to understand why are people doing this way.
when i grow up more.
i start to realise.
i start to ponder.
i start to reflect.
i start to condemn.
i start to cry.
what happens when i grow older.
would i start to think more?
would i just let go those i cant have?
would i just let things be and leave it there?
would i start to be more considerate or inconsiderate?
would i start to love or start to despise?

almost at the end of my 18years of life on earth.
today.
i realise that i have really grown up.
i think, i ponder, i reflect.
im trying to get everything right.
but not all is what i want.
i am learning a little step by little.
just like how i did when i was young.
just a little baby girl.
