Hug:
#1: To clasp tightly in the arms, especially with affection; embrace.
#2: To cling firmly or fondly to;cherish: to hug an opinion.
#3: A tight clasp with the arms; embrace.

in addition, im reading the Five language of love now, and one of the language is touch.
but i haven read till that chapter yet though.

a hug would be most appreciated when someone is down, or when someone is joyous over something.
it could also be given randomly, to show how much you love that person and you treasure him or her.
then i think back on myself.
i wouldnt even dare to hold people's hand when i go out, how would you expect me to hug one person.
only during church when the pastor would ask us to give each other a hug, only then i would.

i remember there is once, my parents followed me to a good friday service.
i was praying quite hard that the pastor would say give each other a hug.
so at least i got a 'reason' to hug them.
and bingo!
my prayer came true and that was the first ever hug that i've given them(:

there was another once.
that one of my favourite pastor was being touched.
i wanted to go up and offer her a hug.
but i dont dare.
there comes another sister went to hug her.
and she felt comforted, she felt loved.
i could see the tears rolling down her cheek.

look.
this is how a hug would help a person.
its not expensive, its not hard.
but it takes a very big courage to hug someone. (prob this applies to me only)

like how Jesus.
He hugged us like a baby in His arms.
like the father and the prodical son.
how wide did he open his arms to welcome his returned son, and give him a huge hug as though nothing has happened.
clothed him with fine jewelry and clothes and sandals.
thats what God always want to do.

the time is near.
the ending is coming.
how and when no one knows.
but i know, He is coming soon.
to bring us back to where we belongs.
and have an eternity together with Him.
